What the setup fee covers: installing the AccelPay cart or Shopify app on your site, syncing products to retailers, setting up shipping and delivery profiles, and getting your product placed with shipping retailers.
What the monthly fee covers: platform maintenance and new features, placing your product with shipping retailers, a listing on ReserveBar.com and in its corporate gifting catalog, ongoing help with depletions and product availability, state tax calculation and remittance, and frontline customer support for your shoppers.
What your customer pays: the retailer's price, plus shipping. You set the wholesale price and a suggested retail price. Retailers buying at the same wholesale usually follow your suggestion, but each retailer sets its final price. Shipping averages about $20 for up to a 6-bottle case, local delivery in metro areas averages about $6, and many brands set a free or discounted shipping threshold.
How does the money flow on an order?
- A shopper buys on your website. The checkout looks like your brand, on your domain.
- The order goes to a licensed retailer in the network that carries your product and can ship to that address. The retailer is the merchant of record.
- The retailer ships the order with a mandatory adult signature at delivery, as opposed to other ecommerce platforms.
- The retailer buys your product through your existing importer and distributors, like any other account.
- AccelPay calculates and remits sales tax as the marketplace facilitator, so you do not register for sales tax in every shipping state.
How does AccelPay work on my website?
- Shopify: two native apps in the Shopify App Store, AccelPay Fulfillment (order routing and retailer logistics) and AccelPay Payments (payment processing), plus one CNAME record.
- Any other site: an embedded cart added with a script tag and a CNAME record, so the cart loads on your domain. Confirmed on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopline and custom-built sites.
- Mixed carts: alcohol routes to the retailer; merchandise ships from you through ShipStation or your 3PL. The shopper checks out once and gets two shipments.
- Subscriptions and email: works with Recharge and Skio for subscriptions (a case a month, a bottle or two, or a club), and Klaviyo for email flows.
- Your customer data: you keep the customer record from every order and can use it in Klaviyo, Meta and Google audiences.
- New products: add a new release any time by listing it in your store. AccelPay places it with a retailer. There is no SKU limit.
Where can AccelPay ship?
Across the combined ReserveBar and AccelPay retail network, brands can reach customers in about 40 states. Transit is about 5 days to the customer, and shipping is about $20 a case.
For same-day orders, AccelPay connects to Gopuff and BevMo (about 30-minute delivery in supported metros) and DoorDash (30 to 60 minutes from local retailers), and can show shoppers on your site which bottles are in stock for delivery near them. AccelPay reports an average of 40 minutes across nearly 300 cities for instant delivery. Gopuff delivery is part of the Portfolio plan, for brands whose product is stocked there. Bevstack and Bottle Nexus have no same-day delivery partners.
How many retailers are in the network?
AccelPay's network includes 3,500+ licensed retail locations, including Gopuff and BevMo stores and independent shops. By comparison, Bevstack primarily ships from its sister retail company, BevMax, in Connecticut, and Bottle Nexus primarily ships from three retail accounts: Vista in San Diego, Longhorn in Texas and Mashbill in New York. Shipping from more locations shortens transit time and keeps orders moving if one store runs out of stock or a region has weather delays.
How long does it take to launch?
Plan on 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff to first shipped order. Tech setup takes about 2 weeks and runs alongside the retailer work (confirming wholesale and suggested retail prices, placing product with retailers). Brands with everything ready can go live faster. To start, AccelPay needs your product category, current distribution, wholesale price and suggested retail price.
You can open a presale before product reaches the retailer. Monthly billing starts on your presale or launch date, not at signing.
How fast do orders arrive?
In Q2 2026, AccelPay's median fulfillment time was 1 day and median transit time to the customer was 5 days. Median shipping cost was $20 and median instant delivery cost was $6. Customer support averaged a 2.5-hour first response and 24-hour resolution, with a CSAT score of 4.7.
Does AccelPay include a ReserveBar listing?
Yes. Every AccelPay brand gets a listing on ReserveBar.com and in the ReserveBar corporate gifting catalog as part of its plan. Advertising is optional. Half of the first-year platform fee comes back as advertising credit on ReserveBar.com and Minibar ($3,000 on the starting plan), enough for a launch email, a month in the top spot of a category, or a holiday gift guide feature. Credit is for advertising only and does not convert to cash.
Do I need a new distributor or wholesaler?
No. Network retailers buy your product through your existing importer and distributors, like any other account. Most network stores already have accounts with the major distributors, and we have strategic partnerships with Park Street Imports and Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
Who owns AccelPay?
AccelPay and ReserveBar announced a merger on March 26, 2026, under a new parent company, Vesper Commerce. The combined company runs ecommerce and payments platforms, including white-label solutions and the ReserveBar and Minibar marketplaces. Shehryar Hussain is CEO of the combined company. AccelPay brands list on ReserveBar.com from the same setup, with no second integration.
Is AccelPay a good fit if my budget is under $500 a month?
Yes. Plans start at $1,000 setup and $500 a month, with no per-order charge to the brand, and discounted pricing and startup plans are available for craft brands. Half of the first-year fee comes back as ReserveBar advertising credit.
Who should choose AccelPay?
Choose AccelPay if you:
- want checkout on your own domain, styled as your brand, on Shopify or another CMS
- want to keep your customer data and run it through Klaviyo, Meta and Google
- want subscriptions, mixed alcohol and merch carts, or same-day delivery through Gopuff, BevMo and DoorDash
- want orders shipped from 3,500+ locations across both coasts, not one to three stores
- want a place to launch your brand, like ReserveBar.com, with a built-in customer base that already buys alcohol online
